Registered Veterinary Nurse - Durham - Up to £30,000

An exciting opportunity has opened at our small animal practice for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, professional team full-time. Our practice is housed in a new, state-of-the-art building with everything you could need!
Our wonderful team enjoys socializing, including annual garden parties, access to a chalet in the French Alps, and nurse-led outings. Plus, we celebrate your birthday with cake! We value work-life balance, and our team consists of 5 vets, 6 RVNs, 3 SVNs, and 1 ACA. Each day, we have 3 vets on duty2 consulting and 1 performing surgeries.
We are looking for a nurse eager to bring fresh ideas to our growing team. Ideal candidates may have certifications in anaesthesia, exotics, feline-friendly nursing, ECC, or nutrition. Our vets are also pursuing certifications in surgery and have special interests in orthopaedics.
This full-time position involves a rota schedule, working 1 in 4/5 Saturdays alongside another RVN, with no out-of-hours work.
About You:
You should have substantial veterinary nursing experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, and be an effective team player. A systematic approach to decision-making, strong planning, and organizational skills are essential. You should be friendly, down-to-earth, genuinely interested in animal welfare, and enjoy the variety of interactions with clients and colleagues.
