Regulatory Analyst
Financial Regulatory Analyst - 12-month FTC 21 hours per week.
- Annual Salary: £32-34k (22.8K pro rota).
- Location: Tipton, West Midlands
- Job Type: 21 hours can be over 3/4 days, Hybrid working 9-5pm with 1 hour for lunch.

The Regulatory Analyst is responsible for the preparation of the accurate and timely submission of financial information to the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Bank of England.
The Regulatory Analyst will support the Finance Team with credit risk analysis of the Society’s loan portfolio, COREP and PRA returns.
They will also support the production of statutory accounts, Pillar 3 disclosures and testing in relation to new Regulatory frameworks. They will also assist with day-to-day finance responsibilities when required to do so.
Must champion TCF principles and policies and the Society’s GREAT values.
Day to Day of the role:
You will need strong EXCEL/SAP skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot tables and excellent MI reporting and have experience within a busy Finance function within financial services environment is desirable.
- Ensuring a consistently high quality of work and analysis in the regulatory reporting process.
- Responsible for the production of the backing schedules for regulatory reporting.
- Assistance with the production of Pillar 3 disclosures including banking schedules.
- Responsible for the production of regulatory returns; including data integrity within ALMIS.
- Assistance with the production of mortgage book and capital stress testing.
- Responsible for the production of Regulatory and any associated Board/Committee reports.
- Maintaining integrity of data within ALMIS (Reg Reporting).
- Ongoing consideration of departmental risks, controls and responsibilities.
- Adhoc projects and tasks as required by the HofF.
- Maintaining procedures and controls for all areas within responsibility.
- Assistance with statutory accounts and liaising with both internal and external audit.
- Assistance with the maintenance of Regulatory assumption documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience within a Financial services industry.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Able to multitask in an environment of competing deadlines.
- Confidence to use their initiative.
It is desirable that the individual be progressing a recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. AAT).
