You will be joining the United Kingdom & Ireland (UKI) Employee Compliance team, who are managing the Personal Account Dealing, Outside Business Interest activity and Employee Licensing for all UKI employees. You will report jointly to the London based Supervisor of Employee Compliance for UKI functionally and locally to the Birmingham based Employee Licensing lead. Whilst the team play a key role in advising employees on the requirements of the Personal Account Dealing, Outside Business Interest and Regulatory Licensing policies and ensuring adherence to these, there is also a large amount of project work involved.

Your key responsibilities
  • Managing the oversight and escalations of the Outside Business and Private Investment disclosures for UKI employees
  • Supporting the Certification and Re-certification process operated by the Employee Licensing team as required
  • Engaging in project work related to Personal Account dealing where necessary which may involve spreadsheet work and following up with employees or external brokerage firms etc.
  • Engaging in project work related to Employee Licensing supporting the UKI Head of Employee Compliance in embedding governance and controls around global employee licensing.
  • Facilitating communication between functional teams across Compliance, Human Resources, other Infrastructure areas and the wider Business
Your skills and experience
  • Able to work under pressure and use discretion with sensitive and confidential data
  • Delivery focused with a process mindset
  • Familiarity with manipulating Excel spreadsheets and creating Powerpoint based Management Information packs and presentations
  • Forward thinking and self-driven with the ability to see opportunities in challenges.
  • Strong communication skills with a desire to share information, knowledge and expertise with peers and team members
  • Demonstrate integrity, trust, and fairness in all that you do
