Regulatory Policy Consultant
Our client is seeking a Regulatory Policy Consultant to join their dynamic team ion London. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on regulatory policy for UK and EU investment firms. The successful candidate will be responsible for horizon scanning, regulatory interpretation, policy management, and working with the Change team on implementing new rules.
Responsibilities:
- Horizon scanning to ensure that the company is ahead of regulatory changes
- Working with the Production team to assist with any interpretations
- Preparing and maintaining regulatory policies
- Collaborating with the Change team on implementing new rules
- Utilising strong PC skills, particularly MS Excel VBA and MS Access
- Communicating effectively with various stakeholders within the organisation
Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of UK and European rules (including CRR, IFPR, IFR) across financial services
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets and Wealth Management businesses
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Team player mentality
