Reinsurance Pricing and Partnerships Actuary

We have partnered with a global leading Reinsurer to find them a Senior Reinsurance Treaty Pricing Actuary. This is a great opportunity to have ownership/exposure to a a large, yet growing book of business (Over 1bn GWP currently and aiming for over £1.5bn at the end of 2025). The role is broad covering all P&C Specialty classes as well as leading a growing Partnerships & Innovation business segment. The role also includes:

• Team of 6 including a direct report and two data analysts who focus mainly on dashboards/MI.
• Closely partnering with UW offering strong deal vision.
• Oversight and guidance of UW KPI's and Performance. Reporting insights to the UW committee.
• Heavily client facing offering support for broker and reinsurer negotiations.
• Individual case pricing support, leading the development of pricing models, enhancing portfolio analytics and supporting wider strategic initiatives.
• Taking a lead on a certain business segment but also working collaboratively with the wider team during busier periods.
• Outwards Reinsurance optimisation.
