Reinsurance Technician

HFG is excited to be partnered with a speciality insurer who are eager to find a Reinsurance Technician to join their expanding team. In this role you will work with the Reinsurance Placement Officer and Binder Technician to streamline the configuration of reinsurance contract agreements into the management system. You will also be responsible for the ongoing management and processing of all reinsurance transactions ensuring timely and accurate interactions with reinsurers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with the Binder Technician, Program Manager and TPA Manager to ensure that risk and claims transactions are received and able to be processed to meet reinsurance contractual service.

• Ensure that insurance transactions are correctly processed within the reinsurance management system.

• Completely and accurately load all insurance transactions received into the reinsurance management system within required timescales.

• Work directly with reinsurers to ensure that reporting and settlement service levels are achieved.

• Collaboration with the CUO, CRO, COO, CFO on the operational integration of reinsurance to ensure a smooth process.
