Rayment Recruitment are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to provide cover to one of our Suffolk based clients.

The Relief Head Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and serving high-quality meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Planning: Develop and design nutritious, varied, and cost-effective menus suitable for a diverse workforce.
  • Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring all food is cooked to the highest standards.
  • Supervision: Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient operation of the kitchen and adherence to schedules.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, place orders, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
  • Budget Management: Monitor food costs and work within budgetary constraints.
