Religious Education Teacher - Bury - September start

Prospero Teacher are seeking to a passionate Religious Education Teacher to join a team at a secondary school in Bury on a part time basis (0.8) from September, for the whole of the upcoming academic year.

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Religious Education and will be able to motivate, elevate and challenge students to produce the highest quality work and achieve high academic standards. The role is 4 days a week (0.8) there will be opportunities to work the 5th day if cover is required in school, if that is something you are interested in.

The ideal candidate:

Has a proven History to secure excellent pupil results in Religious Education GCSE exams. Can inspire and lead high quality teaching, learning and assessment Is dynamic and an ambitious practitioner, who can build on the success of the subject and ensure good progress for all pupils Has experience of effective teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural and academic needs.

8:15am - 4pm Monday to Friday

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all required vetting checks

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide a minimum of two professional teaching related references

up to date safe guarding training issued in the last 12 months (essential, training can be provided)

Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training in the last 3 years (essential, training can be provided)
