We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join our dynamic team at [Your School Name], a high-achieving secondary school in Greenwich. Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging RE lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Develop students' understanding of various religions, ethical viewpoints, and cultural perspectives.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  • Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum and participate in school-wide activities and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall educational experience and ethos of the school.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Education, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/Equivalent) and/or previous Religious Studies Teacher experience.
  • Previous experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary school level is preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also welcome to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of different religions, philosophies, and ethical frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
