Our client is a well-known building society with headquarters in Swindon; As one of the largest savings and mortgage providers in the UK, 15 million members are at the heart of everything they do.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Remediation Business Analyst for a 6 Months contract based in Swindon or Northampton (Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office).

Purpose of the Role:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead detailed As-Is and To-Be analysis to understand issues, elicit requirements, and produce solution design options. You will play a crucial role in designing new or optimizing existing processes and ways of working, ensuring that requirements are explicit, quantifiable, and testable.

Responsibilities of the role:

As a Remediation Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Conduct detailed As-Is and To-Be analysis to understand issues and elicit requirements.
  • Produce solution design options with the ability to design new or optimize existing processes and ways of working.
  • Deliver explicit, quantifiable, and testable requirements through the elicitation, documentation, validation, and management of requirements.
  • Support the resolution of incident design risks and issues, managing changes in requirements or designs.
  • Ensure alignment to priorities and other relevant change initiatives.
  • Maintain the traceability of business requirements to the solution, with the status and ownership communicated to relevant stakeholders.

What we require from the candidate:

  • Proven experience in a Senior Business Design or Senior Business Analyst role.
  • Experience in undertaking and managing business design activities using different methodologies, tools, and techniques across multiple projects and workstreams.
  • Considerable experience in business requirements management, from elicitation to solution design through to traceability.
  • Proven experience in business process mapping.
  • Experience in line management, coaching, and mentoring of Business Designers/Business Analysts.
  • Ability to manage personal and team workload effectively across multiple, demanding, and occasionally conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment.
