Removals Driver

Salary: £11.44 starting salary however DOE scope to go to £12.50p/h.

Hours: Casual hours to be discussed in more depth. Part time and Full time hours available. Core hours can be anywhere between 6.30am - 8pm Mon - Sat.

Location: Huddersfield and surrounding areas

Duration: Temporary - Permanent

Stafflex are actively recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established Removal company based in Huddersfield. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Removal Driver who is keen to join a vibrant and positive team as well as, being keen to take part in their continued success.

Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading of van safely and using correct methods to secure items etc..
  • Transporting clients belongings, manual handling / moving items around clients premises safely and securely.
  • Assisting with any decanting or assembling of furniture.
  • Dealing with completion jobs (removals that have to have everything out by a certain time).
  • Ability to be flexible with 'wait times' - some jobs do require you to remove items from 1 location to the next however you may not get the keys until later on that day - so have to be flexible with hours able to work.

Requirements

  • Removal experience is a must! May consider somebody who has worked for the installations industry (strong van loading experience and on-site assembly / installation experience).
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Must be over 25 for insurance purposes
