Are you an experienced LGV driver looking to transition into transport administration? Our client is seeking a dedicated Removals Operations Supervisor to manage daily operations and ensure a seamless moving experience for their clients. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of scheduling and logistics within the removals industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Overseeing and organising removal teams to provide prompt and effective service.
• Managing the distribution of resources, scheduling, and logistics.
• Ensuring adherence to corporate policies and health and safety standards.
• Establishing a constructive team atmosphere while offering guidance and assistance to employees.
• Successfully responding to consumer enquiries and addressing operational problems.
• Monitoring vehicle maintenance and ensuring proper equipment usage.
• Tracking performance indicators and sharing important discoveries.
• Controlling inventory levels and guaranteeing that the required supplies are available.
• Collaborating with other divisions to maximise effectiveness.
• Helping with hiring, educating, and developing employees.
• Putting operational upgrades into practice to improve service delivery.
• Addressing any issues that arise on the job site and solving them immediately.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in removals, logistics, or transport industry.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent team management abilities to motivate and lead a diverse workforce.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• A valid UK driving licence (LGV licence would be an advantage).
