To support our growing business, we have an opportunity for a Reporting Manager to join initially on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

Reporting into the National Grid Transition Lead, the initial focus will be on ensuring business reporting operational readiness for all aspects of the Managed Service across both internal and customer facing reports. Once the service is live, the post holder will assist in delivering operational excellence by providing trend analysis - identifying areas and opportunities for improvement ensuring actions are captured in the Service Improvement Plan and taken through to conclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the Transition Workstream Leads and the customer, design and build the required reports in line with relevant service KPIs and customer governance frameworks.
  • Working cross-functionally, document all new reporting requirements/ amendments ensure they are understood by all required stakeholders and implemented accordingly.
  • Assist the Systems BA in capturing operational reporting requirements ensuring the reports delivered meet contractual requirements.
  • Feed any identified improvement opportunities into the appropriate team.
  • Engage with key stakeholders requiring reporting ensuring requirements are gathered, understood and catered for.
  • Continued review and development of the reporting suite to ensure it continues to meet the needs of the business.
  • Other duties as may be required to ensure ORT targets are met

Key competencies / Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to, and work closely with colleagues, clients and suppliers at all levels of the business hierarchy
  • Highly numerate and literate, with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of ITSM processes and systems
  • Previous experience of Salesforce and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Business Objects
  • Experience in reporting development and governance modelling
  • Able to manage key business and IT stakeholders, providing support and direction where needed
  • Confident in giving presentations and facilitating workshops to colleagues, clients and suppliers
