Research Associate

We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a Research Associate to join a reputable company based in Nottingham. Combining scientific analytics with account management and sales, this role aims to execute client projects to a high standard with positive results.

To be considered for the Project Leader, you’ll require the following essentials:

• Undergraduate or Graduate education in mechanical engineering, chemistry, biology, or materials science with history of strong academic performance
• Strong skills Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Analytics - Familiarity and comfort with some technical/scientific disciplines
• Experience and skill in building and delivering projects / presentations
• Excellent interpersonal and external relationship building skills
• Team player interested in working in a team-oriented environment
• Must have strong conversational and technical English

Within this position, you’ll also be:

• Carrying out projects, working with project team to deliver work and set strategy
• Conducting marketing research and initiating Introductions with clients
• Converting promising Introductions into completed transactions
• Report writing - contributing to drafting reports and presentations for clients
• Drawing necessary data and results from team and client, determine critical vs. non-critical delivery components
• Assessing client expectations to prepare well written, high quality reports and deliverables
• Driving repeat business by building trust, momentum and insight with key clients

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £26,000 – 29,000 DOE

Working hours are Monday – Friday
