Research Scientist in Biokinetics (2 year contract)

Are you passionate about plant physiology and biochemistry? Do you thrive in a research-driven environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to make a significant impact within the Bioperformance group of our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality data from biokinetics assays to support herbicide research projects.
  • Analyse results, provide scientific insights, and propose follow-up studies.
  • Introduce new technologies and improve assay protocols for operational efficiency.
  • Design and conduct experiments to validate biokinetics assays.
  • Communicate scientific findings effectively within the team and across projects.

What You Bring:

  • Essential: MSc and/or PhD in plant physiology, plant biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a research setting, demonstrating a strong track record in experimental design and troubleshooting.
  • Skills: Excellent data processing and analysis capabilities, with a collaborative spirit to work across all levels of the organisation.
  • Knowledge: A willingness to deepen your understanding of the crop protection industry.

Desirable:

  • Experience with LCMS analysis of small molecules.
  • Interest in predictive modelling using generated data.
