Due to the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities new legislation, our client is required to communicate and engage on the progress of the Remediation Programme with impacted residents on a regular basis prior to and during the assessment and construction phase.

I’m looking for a Residential Liaison Officer to effectively engage with Resident and External Stakeholders and keep them fully informed of the progress and outcome of the assessment process and during the construction phase. You’ll be the consistent point of contact for the construction team, leaseholders, and residents, and will support the Resident Liaison Manager in delivering 'best practice’ across the projects.

You’ll attend project review meetings to keep up to date with programme progress and deal with any issues such as no access, delays, and complaint information; coordinate and attend all resident engagement meetings, forums, drop-in sessions, and public events as required; arrange appointments for access in both the communal and private residential areas and update project trackers as necessary.

You’ll draft Notification of Works letter, newsletters, interim-notices, and leaflets to update resident, issue Needs Assessments form to identify vulnerable residents and suggest how best to support them to minimize any disruption; collate information with regards the project, work with the Project Manager to advise and support Stakeholders - Freeholder, Leaseholder and Managing Agents. Also, complete pre-condition surveys on residential properties where access is required either in their property or on the balcony and ensure the surveys are accompanied by photographic evidence and work with all parties and the construction team to resolve objections, complaints or customer queries.

This is a high-profile department where you’ll be joining a dedicated team who deliver a first-class customer service and take pride in supporting each other to achieve the joint goal of minimizing the impact on Residents so it’s essential that you have previous Resident Liaison experience with either a House Builder or Local Authority.
