Residential Accountant

West London - Office based + Hybrid working

£35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Temporary / Contract - Part-time 4 hours a day or Full time 9am - 6pm

Cobalt are working with a well-established real estate company to support them in finding an experienced Residential Account to join their successful team in London on a temporary basis. Our client has a large number of commercial and residential properties within their portfolio, that spans across the wealthiest areas of London and also act as a consultancy to those who are keen to get into the world of property investment.

This position is to cover the workload of someone who is on sick leave and is expected to last around 5 months however may be extended.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payments to clients
  • Dealing with non-residential landlord requirements
  • Record incoming rent and funds
  • Process invoices
  • Run statements
  • Calculate rent and fees
  • Respond to client queries regarding accounting questions
  • Handle resident deposits and release them when instructed
  • Perform other admin tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of CFP Winman software is highly advantageous, though not essential.
  • Candidates must have accounting experience with other software and be familiar with accounting best practices.
  • While an accounting qualification is beneficial, it is not required.
