We are excited to announce that we are currently looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to fill the position of a Residential Child Care Worker in the West Midlands. We have work in Sutton Coldfield, Handsworth, Rugeley and Smethwick.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a respected client dedicated to providing top-notch residential services to children.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Providing day-to-day care for children within the residential setting

- Creating a safe, nurturing environment where the children can thrive

- Implementing individual care plans and procedures

- Building positive relationships with the children and promoting their self-esteem

- Collaborating with other professionals to ensure the welfare of the children

- Adhering to the policies and procedures of the Residential Children’s Service.

**Qualifications and Experience**

- A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent

- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable

- An enhanced DBS check will be required.

**Skills and Abilities**

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative

- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures

- A compassionate, patient and caring nature

- Ability to handle challenging situations with children.
