Location: Southport/Hybrid

About the Role:
The company is seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Conveyancing Caseload Manager to join its team in Southport. This hybrid role offers flexibility in work arrangements, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work. As a Residential Conveyancing Caseload Manager, the successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing a diverse volume of residential property transactions, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional client service within the conveyancing department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides effective line management and development for assistant or shared assistant resources to ensure efficient caseload management in residential conveyancing.
  • Identifies and nurtures the potential of team members, facilitating their growth in experience, knowledge, and skills within the context of residential property transactions.
  • Collaborates with the Team Leader to optimize resource allocation and enhance departmental flexibility in residential conveyancing matters.

Client Management:
  • Cultivates and maintains strong professional relationships with clients involved in residential property transactions.
  • Enhances client service standards specific to residential conveyancing and instills a culture of total client care within the department.
  • Monitors and reviews the team's delivery of client service in residential conveyancing, providing regular feedback for improvement.

Technical Responsibilities:
  • Manages a diverse range of residential property transactions, including freehold, leasehold, new builds, shared ownership, and limited company transactions.
  • Ensures compliance with the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS), firm policies, relevant legislation, and quality standards specifically tailored to residential conveyancing.
  • Stays updated on relevant legislation and practices in residential conveyancing through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Delegates tasks effectively to the team support in the context of residential property transactions.

Knowledge & Experience:
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of residential conveyancing services within the company.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills to navigate interactions at all levels and mitigate conflicts, particularly in the context of residential property transactions.
  • Communicates technical matters related to residential conveyancing clearly to non-technical users, both verbally and in writing.
  • Shows dedication to client-focused service delivery in residential conveyancing.
  • Exhibits proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management systems relevant to residential conveyancing.
  • Holds a minimum of 5 years' experience managing diverse caseloads in residential conveyancing from instructions to completion and registration.
  • Has a working knowledge of CQS Protocol, UKFML, and BSA Handbooks as they pertain to residential conveyancing.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid)
