Ackerman Pierce are looking to recruit a Children's Home Residential Team Manager on a permanent basis in Liverpool.

Responsibilities include:

  • Knowledge of child and adolescent development which includes the needs of children, young people, parents, carers and families.
  • In depth Knowledge of legislation relating to children and young people which includes Ofsted Children's Homes Regulations & Quality Standards, Children Act and National Guidance and Policy.
  • Specific knowledge of Ofsted Inspections including regulation 40
  • In-depth and up to date knowledge of Childcare legislation and current safeguarding legislation.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • minimum 3 years' experience working with young people
  • minimum 1 years' experience running a children's home or a deputy role where you have supervised staff
  • experience of working with young people with challenging behaviours and emotional difficulties
  • experience of working with neurodiverse individuals
  • level 5 in leadership and management
  • experience with OFSTED protocols and inspections.
