Job Advertisement: Residential Support Worker

Position: Residential Support Worker
Location: This position is approximately 10 miles from Preston, on the outskirts (Driver Only)
Pay: £90-£100 per day
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week on a rota basis covering both early and late shifts (temp to perm)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Do you have experience working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other additional needs? If so, we want to hear from you!

About Us: We are a specialist SEN school in Preston, dedicated to supporting students aged 8 to 19 years old with ASD and other additional needs. Our residential support workers play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where our students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to students with ASD and additional needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities, educational tasks, and social integration.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support.
  • Maintain accurate records and report any concerns or incidents.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with SEN and ASD.
  • Experience working with children and young people.
  • Passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
  • Driver with access to a vehicle (essential).
  • No formal qualifications required - your experience and passion are what matter most.
