Seven Social Care are currently looking for a Residential Support Worker to work in Somerset.

Pay: £13 - £16.58 per hour
Contract: Locum
Hours: Full-time

You will be working in a Small Residential Home wroking with young people who have had difficult journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents by following established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of individual care plans.
  • Support residents in engaging with social and recreational activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.

Requirements

  • Ideally you will have experience of working with Autism, you will be resilient and reflective in your practice and willing to take on a challenge
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
