Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism and social, emotional, and mental health challenges? Our school in Horsham is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team.

Position: Residential Support Worker
Location: Horsham
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £25,480 per annum

Role and Responsibilities: As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide individualised support to children with autism and SEMH challenges.
  • Assist with daily routines and activities, fostering a safe and structured environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
  • Implement personalised care plans and behavioural strategies.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and emotional development.
  • Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of all students.

Requirements of a Residential Support Worker:

  • A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
  • Understanding of autism and SEMH challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience.
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
