Prospero Teaching are recruiting for experienced Children's Residential support workers to work at an organization that supports Children and young adults who have complex learning difficulties and medical needs.

Role Description -

  • These active roles will involve providing daily care and support for our children and young people including: personal care needs, mobility, daily routine support, learning, leisure activities and promoting communication and independence skills
  • Challenging behaviours will present in these roles, so to fully support our young people, candidates should be comfortable working in this type of environment (full training is provided)
  • Providing routine checks on the premises to allow for a safe environment
  • Assist in the daily duties of running the home (paperwork, record keeping etc.)

All candidates will be subject to a full registration process with Prospero Teaching which will involve full vetting. Ideally you will already have a Child & Adult DBS on the update service but if not, we can process a new one at the cost to yourself of £45.80.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
