Job Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Residential Support Workers to join our team in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting located in Burton-on-Trent. This full-time role will begin in September and involves working within a structured shift pattern, including weekends.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct support and supervision to residents in a residential SEN setting.
Assist with daily living activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
Administer and manage medical treatments and medication in accordance with prescribed guidelines.
Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to the specific needs of each resident.
Engage in manual handling tasks, ensuring safe and proper techniques are used at all times.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages residents' development and independence.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and support.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
Requirements:

Proven experience working in a residential care setting.
Experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Proficiency in medical handling and administration.
Strong knowledge and experience in manual handling procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexibly within a shift pattern, including weekends.
