We are looking for a Resin Sales Specialist to work with our expert EMEA Bioprocess Resins Modality team of 9 employees across Europe. Do you have a passion for Sales? Then we would love to hear from you.  

What you’ll do

  • Drive Design-In and Spec-Win activities for our chromatography resins to identify new opportunities and close deals to develop sales short and long term, through having and providing deeper knowledge of the resin portfolio, both from a technical and an application aspect.

  • Planning customer meetings, identify and monitor their molecules pipeline in order to deliver Design-in wins for our resins portfolio

  • Achieve annual and quarterly revenue targets through accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting, in coordination with relevant Accounts Managers, by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration and complete territory coverage

  • Plan mid to long term activities addressing customer projects and proactively inform customers about our resin and related solutions to build the ‘funnel’, in collaboration with account managers, other specialists and marketing. Provide feedback on trends & competitor activities to marketing & product management

  • Work with account managers and regional marketing to organize seminars, user days, product training, new product introductions etc. and support these events with resin specific presentations, and technical know-how. Make sure marketing activities and portfolio leads are followed up.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Technology.

  • 5 + years commercial experience in the BioPharma industry.

  • Excellent strategic selling skills including customer presentations, product demonstration, negotiation, closing and the ability to grow a sales territory.

  • High level presentation and interpersonal skills; having clear customer focus and being able to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that results in understanding and impact to build effective customer relationships at all levels within an organization.

  • Solid project management skills, high degree of self-motivation and prioritization abilities

  • Fluency in English, spoken and written, ability to work in a multi-culture environment

  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis (up to 50% or more) in the assigned territory (UK and potentially other parts of Europe) and for customer activities (e.g. trade shows) internationally
