Venn Group have an exciting opportunity for Responsive Repairs Team Leaders, working on Social housing contracts in the Black Country. These are permanent positions, working for one of the Midlands’ leading and most successful providers of quality homes.

Day to day duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Leading, managing and motivating a team of trade colleagues to work productively, efficiently and to an excellent standard, ensuring a ‘right first-time approach’
  • Being accountable for overall team performance along with ensuring individual team members are performing to expected standards
  • Ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met, as well as managing contractor performance
  • Ensuring the team deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • Managing any employee relation issues within the team, including sickness, performance management and conduct issues
  • Surveying a wide range of repairs, diagnosing, fault finding and ordering the repair appropriately
  • Ensuring all material, plant and equipment are available at site, including co-ordinating van stock for the team

In order to be successful for the role, the candidate must have:

  • Full UK Driving Licence – van and fuel card will be provided
  • Experience of managing an leading a team of multi-skilled trade colleagues
  • A sound understanding of construction health and safety, asbestos and fire risk regulations
  • BTEC/HNC in Building Studies is desirable
