**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Director to join our client's team in Katowice, Poland. This exciting role involves the pre-opening phase and then transitioning to the restaurant's opening. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Pre-Opening ( to November):**

- Evaluate staff needs per outlet, organigram, and rotations.
- Determine tableware, glassware, and cutlery requirements for restaurants, bars, clubs, and cafés.
- Assess furniture and storage needs, including cupboards and shelves.
- Establish service routes and processes, ensuring ergonomic efficiency, hygiene, and client comfort.
- Provide input on various service concepts and projections, including staff costs.
- Make decisions on equipment, including machines and small equipment.
- Participate in the selection and implementation of POS and KMS systems.
- Consult on wine and bar services, including drafting wine and cocktail lists and liaising with suppliers.

**Opening (December to March):**

- Establish start dates for all outlet service managers.
- Verify that provisional work meets operational needs.
- Develop and implement service standards across all outlets.
- Oversee the welcoming process, service delivery, and client comfort.
- Coordinate tasks and relationships with other departments, such as F&B management, marketing, events, sales, and HR.
- Understand all service concepts and methods.
- Train and mentor all managers.
- Describe all offers (food, beverages) to clients.
- Create and manage staff rotation schedules.
- Establish practical service processes in collaboration with kitchen and outlet managers.
- Train staff on POS and KMS systems.
- Collaborate with the mood manager on staff uniforms and presentation.
- Ensure all equipment meets operational needs.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality operations, focusing on restaurants, bars, clubs, and cafés.
- Proven experience in restaurant openings and staff management, including scheduling and cost analysis.
- Strong understanding of hospitality industry standards, including hygiene, ergonomics, and customer service.
- Proficiency in selecting and managing hospitality equipment and technology systems (POS and KMS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Experience in US restaurants is a plus.
- English language proficiency is required; additional languages are a plus.
