RESTAURANT MANAGER

Indian Restaurant- New Opening

We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable Restaurant Manager for a new 70-cover Indian restaurant opening soon. Menus feature North Indian cuisine, Tandoori dishes, Karahi and an open fire grill. There is dining on 2 floors and a private dining room, service is relaxed but professional, casual fine dining, and the restaurant offers a full take-away service too.

As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the restaurant including:

  • Ensure that the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining the company ethos and reputation
  • Customer care & quality assurance
  • Train, manage and motivate staff
  • Hygiene, and health & safety
  • Compliance with licensing laws and other legal requirements
  • All food & beverage service
  • Reservations & driving sales
  • Cashing up, banking, stock etc.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 year in a similar role
  • A passion for hospitality and creating a memorable customer experience.
  • Attention to detail
  • Customer focused
  • Positive and approachable manner
  • Team player, hands-on.

This is a hands-on customer facing role, you must be a proactive multitasker competent of running the floor and managing the back of house office admin and paperwork. Comfortable taking direction from the business owners, working as a member of a management team to the same end goals, with customer experience being paramount.

Salary: Up to £45,000 + service charge

5-day week, straight shifts, closed Mondays.
