Remuneration: £30,000 + 2% turnover commission, OTE £40,000

The role of the Retail / Store Manager - Flooring will involve:

• Retail / Store Manager position promoting a high end distributed range of flooring products
• Majority of your time will be spent dealing with individual end users coming into the showroom however you will also trying to increase sales to architects and specifiers
• The remaining portion of your time will be spent dealing with developers, flooring contractors and end users
• Will be required to attend customer properties to survey and provide estimates from time to time
• Managing and developing the retail showroom
• Average order value would be £5k-£10k
• Reporting directly into the Senior Manager

The ideal applicant will be a Retail / Store Manager - Flooring with:

• Must have experience within the flooring industry with a focus on carpets, vinyl, linoleum and wood
• Would consider a flooring merchandiser, store manager, flooring sales rep etc
• Ideally working for a flooring retailer
• Ideally have experience surveying and estimating however this is not essential
• Would consider a trainee looking to make a step up into a retail manager
• Must be likeable and able to build relationships
• IT Literate
