CMS Recruitment Limited are working with a well know small store / bakery based in Gateshead who are looking to recruit a Retail Supervisor.

Overview:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Retail Supervisor to join our team in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail management, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day retail operations, including sales, housekeeping, customer service, staff supervision and incoming deliveries
- Communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management
- Drive sales through effective merchandising and promotional strategies
- Organise and maintain store displays to enhance the customer shopping experience
- Oversee inventory management and stock replenishment in conjunction with the company buyer
- Provide administrative support as needed
- Uphold high standards of customer service and resolve any customer issues promptly
- Train and develop retail staff to deliver exceptional service
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Skills:
- Proven experience in retail management
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Sales management skills to drive revenue growth
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting
- Team management abilities to lead and motivate staff effectively
