We've got an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Retail Team Leader. If you're interested in engaging with visitors and boosting our retail potential, this could be the role for you. 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, weekend work required. This role can include some lone working.

Salary: £23,166 per annum

Duration: Permanent

Reporting to the Retail Manager, you'll be part of a team of 6 staff and 10 volunteers.

What you'll be doing

Alongside your team, you'll be supporting the day to day management of the property retail operation so that it's commercially successful and consistently exceeds our visitors expectations. In addition to the shop, plant sales are seen as a growth area so, whilst not needing to be a plant expert, you must be prepared to support in the management of the plant sales business. 

Monitoring stock and merchandise products to achieve stretching financial targets, you’ll be leading by example when it comes to maximising our profitability and income.

You'll also supervise retail staff and volunteers, working effectively alongside colleagues elsewhere in the property to deliver great service to visitors, promoting and enhancing the property's sense of place.
