Company Overview

You will be joining a very well-known, prestigious and highly regarded Law Firm as their Revenue Controller on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a large finance team of over 65 people, there will be plenty of opportunity for progression here as the firm are incredibly invested in the continued learning and development of their employees. Reporting into the Head of Revenue, you will be fully supported by your Manager, and the wider team, from day one. Based in their London office 3 days a week, you will have the chance to work from home for the remaining 2 days.

Role Responsibilities

In your new role, you will be responsible for producing reports/analysis of billable time, reviewing/updating WIP provision (monthly), accurately producing all bills submitted for processing, preparing full/partial credit notes, producing statements/reminder letters, reviewing/updating bad debt provision (monthly), identifying/escalating potential problem debts to Management, keeping in regular contact with Partners/Fee Earners to ensure queries are being followed up, proactively chasing clients by phone and email, assisting with the preparation of spreadsheets for the valuation of WIP, and working with heads of department to ensure accurate monthly billing forecasts are gathered.

Role Requirements

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to possess Legal Revenue and Credit Control experience, and ideally you will have previously used Elite 3E or Aderant finance systems. You will be an incredibly articulate, professional and engaging individual with a collaborative approach and a willingness to learn. You will possess outstanding communication skills and a confident, mature and calm approach. You will be able to work autonomously and have a flexible, hands-on attitude to all tasks. You will have demonstrable experience of using your own initiative and have a methodical approach with fantastic attention to detail. You will have strong Excel skills and be able to pick up new systems/processes quickly.

In Return

You will receive an annual salary of up to £52,000 (depending on experience) + Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate. There is a non-contractual, annual discretionary bonus that you will be entitled to, subject to you hitting your targets and meeting the set deadlines.
