Location: West Midlands, Dudley

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £22 - £25 Per hour

Job Duties:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in care homes
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor and record residents' conditions and responses to treatments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Support residents with daily activities and personal care
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies
Required Qualifications:
  • Valid RGN (Registered General Nurse) qualification
  • Current NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration
  • Previous experience working in a care home setting
Education:

Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience as an RGN in a care home environment

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practises
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Good organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Specialist training in a relevant area (e.g., elderly care, dementia care)
  • Experience in managing complex care needs
Working Conditions:
  • Part-Time hours, with flexibility required
  • Fast-paced environment with varying resident needs
  • Potential exposure to infectious diseases
  • Physical demands may include lifting and assisting residents
