Risk Analyst

Award winning Wealth Management client is seeking an experienced and collaborative Risk Analyst to join our welcoming team. This full-time Risk Analyst hybrid role is based 2 days in Bath and offers a favourable salary of up to 50K and benefits (bonus, 34 days holiday, 7% pension, life assurance, private medical, encouraged professional development)

In your first few weeks in this Risk Analyst role, you can expect to:

• Support the Risk Manager to ensure our client's Enterprise Risk Management Framework is operating across the company
• Analyse risks as well as identify, describe, and estimate the risks affecting the business
• Oversight and management of incident recording and reporting, closure approvals and trend analysis
• Gathering and use of other relevant intelligence to support the validation and challenge of risk assessments and operation of controls
• Draw upon regulatory and technical knowledge to assess and offer risk-based solutions to difficult business issues

To apply for this Risk Analyst role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Operational risk experience
• Stakeholder management and good communication skills
• Detailed and results-oriented
• Awareness and understanding of the Data Protection Act
• Good understanding of Consumer Duty regulations.

Desirable:

• IRM Diploma in a Risk Management field
• IAQ Qualified or similar
• Be able to understand complex edicts, regulation guidelines, insurance products, and financial legislation
