Risk and Compliance Auditor (Law Firm)
A Law Firm in Leeds, Manchester or London are looking for 2 legal file auditors to join their team. (One internal, one client relating).
The Risk & Compliance team oversees a wide range of partnership and risk and compliance issues for the firm and acts as an in-house legal department assisting with regulatory and professional conduct enquiries.
The firms Quality and Audit Risk team are responsible for the delivery of the annual, lawyer file and relevant business services audit programmes, as well assisting with client team auditing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake tasks to deliver the requirements of the client audit programme for global clients.
- The delivery of quality written audit reports as well as assisting in the monitoring and completion of corrective actions.
- Discussing the client audit requirements and any audit findings with team leader and partners throughout the business.
- Assist in the delivery of an effective audit process relevant to the ISO 9001 Quality Management accreditation for all UK and overseas offices.
- Assist in the ongoing development of existing internal audit process within the relevant audit system.
- Where required, participate in the due diligence processes where it relates to internal or external audit activity.
Experience
- Minimum 2 / 3 year's experience of legal file management.
- Current or previous supervisory, peer review experience or completion of file audit would be ideal.
