Corporate Banking is a technology centric business and the management of the regulatory reporting aspects of this business is key to success of delivering mission critical services for our customers. You will be supporting the Corporate Bank Technology (CB Tech) Chief Risk Officer and EMEA Regulatory Lead to collaborate with key stakeholders across Deutsche Bank to identify and deliver on the regulatory commitments for CB Tech. Your role will be a mix of program management, risk management and strategic responsibilities, where you will be responsible for identifying and managing regulatory commitments for CB Tech. This activity may extend across the whole lifecycle of regulatory action, from initial engagement with the regulatory bodies as part of exercises, questionnaires and on-site inspections to focused work with regulatory finding owners across the Bank to understand their remediation plans and identify impacts and dependencies on CB Tech.

Your key responsibilities
  • Provide governance and oversight of regulatory landscape to ensure coverage and adherence to regulatory interactions
  • Program manage the regulatory engagement lifecycle for CB Tech from entry letter to remediation and issue closure.
  • Provide leadership in the writing of regulatory responses and updates and in coordinating regulatory responses
  • Partner with key stakeholders and ensure proper scoping and prioritisation for all delivery outcomes.
  • Track the status of deliveries, including escalations of risks and issues, and provide reports to management, including preparation of executive presentations.
Your skills and experience
  • Solid practical experience of engaging or working with banking regulators amassed in a Regulatory Management, Compliance or Internal Audit role - focus on technical environments strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record for communications influencing stakeholders, driving buy-in and consensus, and developing effective cross-team communication.
  • Strong hands-on program/project management experience with a history of successful completion of time-critical regulatory delivery in a highly matrixed organisation.
  • Ability to identify risks and issues, drive issue resolution, and effectively escalate where required.
