Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Prison Mental Health Team
Location: Kent
Duration: Locum
Schedule: Full-time, 8 AM – 4 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £30 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our Prison Mental Health Team as a Band 6 RMN, supporting individuals in a secure setting. Your key responsibilities will include:

? Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and risk evaluations.
? Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions and crisis management.
? Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
? Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, prison staff, and external agencies.
? Managing complex cases, safeguarding concerns, and relapse prevention strategies.
? Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring high standards of care.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

? A valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
? Current and valid prison clearance (essential for consideration).
? Experience working in secure settings, forensic, or prison mental health teams.
? Strong assessment and risk management skills.
? Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
