Original Talent Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for our client based in West Yorkshire in their search for a Road Freight Operator / Freight Forwarder to join the team during this period of growth

The company are a family run business with over 40 years experience in the European Transport industry.

You will be responsible for the whole overall Export process from start through to finish including communication, quoting and invoicing.

Duties include:

• Provide accurate quotes for shipments and full container loads to and from Europe
• Completing accurate records on the system
• Complete customs clearance documents ensuring correct information is put on the forms
• Liaise with customers on delays on shipments
• Obtain quotes from external hauliers and partners
• Monitor process throughout
• Complete proof of delivery forms
• Track drivers and communicate on any issues

Ideally you will:

• Have experience in a similar role
• Be a strong team player
• Understanding of freight rates
• Strong attention to detail
• Thorough understanding of European Road Freight
