RPA UiPath Developer

Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a RPA UiPath Developer for an initial 3 month contract. This opportunity is remotely based with one day per month based in the Edinburgh office.

Purpose of the Role:

• Contributing to the transformation/ development of quality processes, tools, and methodologies, significantly improving the BAU process, accuracy and integrity. You'll be making sure repeatable, constant and consistent quality is built into all phases of the idea to value lifecycle at reduced cost or reduced time to process.
• In this key role, you'll be undertaking and enabling the automated activities for all the business delivery process.
• Support teams to develop quality solutions and enable continuous integration and assurance of defect free deployment of customer value.
• You'll be working closely with feature teams and a variety of stakeholders, giving you great exposure to professional development opportunities.

As a RPA UiPath Developer you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the design of automation test strategies, aligned to business or programme goals.
• Evolving more predictive and intelligent development approaches, based on automation and innovative products and solutions.
• Collaborating with stakeholders and feature teams and making sure that automated process is performed and monitored as an essential part of the planning and product delivery.
• Designing and creating a low maintenance suite of stable, re-usable automated component, which are usable both within the product or domain and across domains and systems in an end-to-end capacity.
• Applying testing and delivery standards by understanding the product development lifecycle along with mandatory, regulatory and compliance requirements.

What we require from the candidate:

• Experience of RPA UiPath application, particularly from an Agile development.
• You'll be an innovative thinker who can identify opportunities and design solutions, coupled with the ability to develop complex automation code.
• Experience in RPA UiPath automation tool.
• Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience of working with code repositories and wikis.
• Experience of DevOps and Agile methodology and associated toolsets and methodologies.
• Experience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance.
• Experience in CI/CD and DevOps and tools supporting UiPath RPA solutions like BitBucket , Jfrog etc. Experience in modularizing RPA solutions using workflows.
• Experience of working with Excel Macros, VBA, Web Automation, Desktop automation, Outlook, Databases, Python and Teradata.
