Rust Protocol Engineer - Layer 2
Up to $325,000 (+Bonus/Tokens)

We are partnered with a Layer-2 protocol using zero-knowledge proof to scale Ethereum. You would join the Core founding Team, they are responsible for the development of their protocol and Rust systems at both Layer-1 (not much on this level yet) and of course Layer-2 level.

The successful Senior Protocol Engineer will:

  • Design and implement a smart contract platform (Solidity/Rust)
  • Develop at L1 and L2 (system contracts and server-side changes)
  • Advance the protocol through research, design, prototyping and engineering
  • Research independently within your area of specialism


We are looking for the following skills and experiences for the Senior Protocol Engineer:

  • Strong understanding of Ethereum / EVM
  • Expertise with Solidity and Rust
  • In-depth knowledge and implementation of algorithms and data structures
  • A Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, physics or related fields
  • Experience in cryptography is also big plus as the project starts implementing ZK pieces in the future...
