Job Description

Company Overview: A leading distributor of Electronic Security products, serving Electrical Installers with cutting-edge solutions. Currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join their Sales team, working with both new and existing customers to meet their project needs and achieve sales targets.

The Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management:

o Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers through meetings, telephone calls, and emails.

o Foster these relationships to achieve agreed revenue targets.

  • New Business Development:

o Identify potential new customers and forward leads to the business development team.

  • Sales and Quotation Management:

o Make accurate, rapid sales calculations.

o Negotiate and provide customers with detailed pricing documentation.

o Create quotations based on customer requirements and internal training.

  • Market and Customer Insights:

o Gather and provide feedback on market and customer trends.

o Use this information to guide future buying trends.

  • Pipeline and Performance Management:

o Maintain and update tracking systems to ensure timely follow-up on sales leads and development of future work opportunities.

o Regularly review and aim to exceed sales performance targets.

  • Team Collaboration:

o Work closely with the other members of the Sales team and Sales Admin team to coordinate sales efforts, resolve customer queries, and maintain excellent customer service.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years of Sales / Business Development experience with a demonstrable track record.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills, both verbal and written (fluent in English).
  • Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage own workload.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with a focus on building quality accounts.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Desired:

  • Experience in Security and Distribution Sales.
  • A passion for Technology and Sales
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • OTE between £30,000 - £58,000 per annum (pro rata)
