Sales Account Manager

Loughborough, office based

07:30 - 14:30, Monday to Friday

£25,000 - £30,000 DOE + commission

The role:


Macildowie are working exclusively with a national wholesale business, looking to add a Salesperson to their growing team, due to business growth.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, fostering strong relationships, and driving sales growth through outbound calling new business and lapsed accounts. As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in understanding client needs, providing solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business objectives
  • Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs
  • Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products/services
  • Analyse sales data and trends to optimise account performance
  • Prepare reports on account status and sales forecasts
  • Ensure timely delivery of products/services and resolve any issues to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Manage invoicing and purchase orders for all Sales accounts (full training will be given on this)
  • Manage outbound new business and lapsed account outreach

Experience:

  • Proven experience in account management or sales
  • Proficiency in CRM software / IT skills
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
