Sales Advisor - Technical

Our client, an established and reputable specialist construction accessory supplier, is seeking a Sales Advisor - Technical to join their team.

This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 up to £27,000 per annum (dependent upon relevant experience/qualification) and a 5% annual bonus based on company and individual performance.

As a Sales Advisor - Technical, you will play a vital role in leading the negotiation of high volume sales. You will act as a point of contact for technical enquiries and provide solutions for manufactured products, ensuring effective and efficient production and delivery of orders. Working closely with the Production Team, you will find solutions to bespoke problems and offer alternatives where applicable. Additionally, you will support the wider Commercial Team by utilising in-house software to aid in the design and specification of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the main contact for technical enquiries and negotiate high-volume sales with existing and new customers
• Research and identify prospective customers and construction projects
• Understand customer requirements and suggest appropriate products and services
• Maintain accurate contract files and diaries to counter potential claims
• Provide technical answers and product knowledge to customer queries
• Develop and maintain positive relationships to generate future sales and repeat business

Key Requirements:

• Qualification in Civil Engineering is desirable, but not essential
• Previous industry experience is a strong advantage
• Proficiency in pricing systems, CRM, SAP, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other relevant software

Hours: Working Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week after deducting daily unpaid break of 30 minutes)
