  • Have a good eye for sales & design:
    • possibly from working in homewares showroom sales such as kitchens, bathrooms or furniture.
    • or selling high end fashion,
    • or selling other high value products.
  • Having any creative or design degree would be very useful, but not essential.

The Job Role...

  • Your priority is to help your clients find their perfect solution, from a single item to a complete residence or workplace.
  • Your professional, positive approach starts the process of building trust with your clients as soon as they make contact or visit the showroom.
  • Through careful questioning, you identify your client's requirements and agree a solution.
  • Accurately process your client's order to ensure smooth delivery & installation.
  • Follow up and keep in touch with your clients. Keep them informed.
  • Contribute to all other aspects of the smooth running of the showroom.

A full-time working pattern is 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday.

Weekend and bank holiday working is normal, but when needed, time off can simply be booked in advance. Full-time holiday entitlement is 30 days per year.

This is a showroom-based role with occasional home-visits to our client's property.

A driving licence is ideal but not essential.

Background Required...

  1. How many years of customer service experience do you have. (At least 1 year required.)
  2. How many years of sales experience do you have. (1 year preferred but not essential.)
  3. How many years of Design related experience do you have. (1 year or more preferred but not essential.)
  4. What is the highest level of education you have completed? (Minimum of HND or Degree required.)
  5. Do you have legal permission to work in the UK? (Essential.)
  6. Do you live within daily commuting distance of the showroom. (Essential.)
