Sales Co-ordinator/Order Processor

Site Based – North Manchester

Salary - £22,500 to £25,000 DOE

We are currently recruiting a Sales Co-ordinator/Order Processor to join us on a permanent basis within a busy sales & customer service team. Successful candidates must have a sales administration background.

Working as part of a team you will be responsible for ensuring all orders are processed on time whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy. You will be the primary point of contact for each of your orders for the duration, from initial proofing through to despatch so excellent customer service skills are a must. We are looking for somebody with a can-do attitude who can maintain their performance level, manage their time and prioritise their workload in a busy and challenging environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the design team & customers to gain artwork approval
  • Manage pre-production samples and ensure they are sent out to customers in the correct format
  • Manage critical paths, ensuring all stages are completed and timeline adhered to
  • Create sales orders in line with the customers purchase order.
  • Order stock from local suppliers and raise the necessary purchase orders
  • Co-ordinate with customers on all packaging requirements
  • Ensure barcodes and customer SKU’s are correct and on file
  • Resolve quality control issues
  • Provide updates to the customer as the order passes through each stage of production
  • Answer delivery related queries/follow ups from the customer
  • Promptly respond and work to resolve customer queries
  • Attend customer meetings to ensure up to speed with all customer requirements
  • Provide customers with up to date factory audits/compliance documents

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience working in a sales administration role
  • A meticulous individual with a high level of attention to detail - accuracy is paramount
  • Organised and capable of managing time & prioritising workload
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills – you must be comfortable liaising both internally & externally and you must be able to manage the customers’ expectations
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office & Outlook 
  • Highly motivated team player
  • Customer liaison and problem solving
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn and improve
