The Role
We’re looking for a talented Sales Consultant to join our Sales and Marketing team. You will be responsible for working with prospective clients once they have enquired with us, taking them through a journey covering calls, estimates, demo’s, scoping, presenting, and closing.
You will manage the process from start to finish, working closely with our internal technical teams to present a solution to fulfil a clients’ brief.
The role will suit someone who loves tech, who is able to listen and create a tailored solution to meet the clients’ requirements, and is great at building relationships.
Responsibilities
Qualify all new sales enquiries
Follow agreed sales process for enquiries
Help ensure sales process evolves to meet objectives
Create documentation for all presentations, estimates and proposals
Work with the internal team to help respond to sales enquiries
Complete any required training to upskill within the role
Add and maintain accurate enquiry/sales records in our task management system
Attend necessary client meetings, scoping days and presentations
Work with leadership team to define overall sales and marketing strategy
Work with marketing team to ensure marketing message and sales services align
Maintain and develop any sales material and documentation to a high standard
Contribute to website content important to sales and new business development
Create case studies from previous work which align with our sales services and objectives
Deliver all necessary awards entries
Create weekly email report on sales progress delivered to board
Provide updates in family meeting on sales progress
Wash up from business won/lost to spot gaps in our service offering
Work with leadership team to define and maintain services and costs
Contribute to weekly meetings with sales and marketing team to discuss progress
Report directly to MD and support with any meetings required
Requirements
Sales experience - An advantage
Highly motivated and organised - Essential
Exceptional customer service skills - Essential
Driving license - Important but not essential
Software or eCommerce experience - An advantage
Location & Travel
The role is remote but with regular team days in Bournemouth. You will be required to attend the team days, which are monthly, visit clients, and attend events.
