Hours/Working pattern: 9-5:30 Monday to Friday, Office based

Duties within the role:

The Sales Development Rep will a pivotal role in driving sales growth by identifying and qualifying leads, engaging with potential clients, and effectively communicating the value of our clients services. They work as the top of the funnel picking up marketing qualified leads and moving deals forward escalating to Account executives and Presales where required.

  • Lead Generation: Conduct research to identify potential clients within the target market, utilising various channels such as online platforms, industry events, and networking.
  • Prospecting: Reach out to prospects through calls, emails, and social media to generate interest in our clients services.
  • Qualification: Assess the needs and requirements of potential clients to determine if our services align with their business goals.
  • CRM Management: Utilise HubSpot CRM to track and manage leads, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to transfer qualified leads and contribute to the overall sales strategy.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and changes in customs procedures to effectively communicate the value proposition of our clients services.
  • Reporting: Assist in the creation of regular reports on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
  • Sales Navigator: Using Sales Navigator to track opportunities, contacts, and prospects and open up new paths to prospects.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the sales process and communicate with the Head of Commercial and Head of Marketing.
  • Mentor: Share experience of Sales Processes, CRM and best practices with other members

The successful candidate:

  • Experience of working in an outbound contact centre/sales environment is essential
  • Success-driven mindset and a hunger to achieve sales goals and targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Quick decision-making skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to work in a team with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience of HubSpot is desirable
