Reporting into the Head of VMware by Broadcom Group leader, the Sales Director Cloud & CCM is part of Arrow VMware by Broadcom Group, EMEA & ANZ, operating under Business Unit "New Models, EMEA & ANZ".

In this role she/he is responsible for Strategic Alliances (goals / performance / Cloud Framework Program and Cloud Commerce Manager agreement) and relationship on management and tactical level.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Manage professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex technical or business support or production operations team(s).
  • Accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function.
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
  • Make decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from senior manager.
  • Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers
  • Accountable for results of a small team.
  • Exercise limited management authority; sets employee performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions.
  • Define team operating standards and ensures essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline.


Principal Accountabilities
  • Makes recommendations to Head of VMware by Broadcom or staff members on strategy and tactics, using business plans. Through data analysis and experience makes solid decisions on strategy and direction. Direct value-added sales opportunities by implementing supply chain, engineering, supplier, or service excellence strategies. Identifies and helps achieve sales branch goals, not just team goals.
  • Manage Team (when applicable/future): Recruits, hires and mentors' sales team. Manage employee performance. Ensure team is trained and has resources to deliver sales plans. Coach and provide feedback to employees. Deliver high potential sales representatives for future management roles. Use managerial courage to make difficult decisions when necessary. Prepare development plans for employees.
  • Develop channel, partner and vendor relationships: Enhance manager relationships with key contacts by providing superior service and operation excellence. Implement effective and practiced techniques for solving problems. Effectively communicate with all levels (partner, end customer and VM-by-BC). Attend reviews and meetings. Increase management presence at partner accounts to achieve access to decision makers.
  • Leadership: Act as SME leader in the branch. Instil vision and create enthusiasm to achieve goals. Use data and analysis to make recommendations to team and to management. Responsible for budgeting and planning. Key leader in facilitating implementation of process improvement based on data.


What We Are Looking For
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related international experience work within a globally distributed team without daily oversight, with a 4-year degree, or 6 years and an advanced degree, or equivalent experience. Working with matrixed structure is preferred.
  • Fluent in English, another European language is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, you are good at forming internal and external relationships very clear, logical and precise (as in unambiguous) in verbal and written specifically as it relates to staffing and multi country and culture engagement, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience with VMware and Cloud / MSP models is mandatory. Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the IT and Cloud Go to Markets solutions and business models.
  • Experience in building business plans, processes, briefings, reports, routes to market, sr. sales and relationship management, channel ecosystems, cloud and services is required.
  • A highly entrepreneurial spirit that manifests itself in a "let's make it happen" approach, coupled with initiative and adaptability
  • Incredible follow-up skills: it's not a problem for you to make sure others follow through with what they have committed to getting done.
  • Excellent attention to detail and genuine passion for vendor, relationship, sales and business development
  • Be able to manage a team, Graduates and other if applicable.
  • The mission will require some travelling (30%, depending on EMEA & ANZ guidelines).

This job profile requires the assignment and participation in a sales compensation plan. A portion of OTE will be variable and tied to specific sales-related goals as set forth by Arrow.

Work Arrangement
  • Fully Remote - 0 days in office. There will be the expectation that you are able to work from the Arrow office at least one day per month with tools like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.


  • The company's standard hours of work are 9.00am - 5.30 pm CET with one hour for lunch, however due to the EMEA & ANZ time zones and the nature of this role flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the role. In addition, this role is remotely facing and, therefore.
