As a future Sales Director, you will report to our Head of UK Institutional Sales, and you will be part of AXA IM Client Group.

To be a critical member of the UK Institutional Sales team with specific responsibility for Defined Contribution (DC) Pension sector, defining a sales strategy/plan for the UK market place with the goal to primarily develop further AXA IM DC proposition and expand these Institutional relationships.

Your role and responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the UK DC strategy
  • Develop and implement a successful sales strategy for the UK DC market
  • Ensure achievement of agreed sales targets as well as P&L and budget targets
  • Increase visibility of AXA IM for the UK DC market.
  • Manage and ensure interfaces to Marketing, Client Service, Product development, Finance, HR and other transversal functions
  • Co-ordinate and implement Sales, Relationship and marketing activities for DC clients and prospects
  • Develop new business for a UK DC
  • Coordinate AXA IM's expertise offer to serve the client at the best of its interests and advises the optimal product mix. Links with all investment teams within AXA IM worldwide
  • Further develop/enhance/enforce existing client relationships
  • Work closely with the consultant relationship team to build profile with field consultants
  • Building strong internal relationships with the Investment teams and other relevant internal functions
  • Actively support close co-operation with the internal Client Group organisation (esp. transversal teams)
  • Ensure all client documentation is up to date and in line with Group and Regulatory standards
  • Adhere to AXA IM's Risk and Control Policy and follow AXA IM's standard policies and procedures.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time
Your Profile

Your qualifications and experience:
  • Relevant sales and client experience within UK DC Market
  • Excellent institutional sales track record
  • Significant directly related experience
  • Strong relationships in the UK institutional market and in particular DC sector
  • Strong ability to identify business opportunities, initiate contact and close new business
Your knowledge and skills:
  • A thorough and proven understanding of investment markets and associated products across the increasingly broad spectrum of investment strategies available to Institutional clients
  • Insight into future developments in the investment management commercial environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven success in delivering high-quality presentations to a broad range of clients
  • Deep understanding of fixed income markets, RI, impact equities and multi-asset strategies
  • Sales can-do and proactive attitude
  • Self-starter with the ability to collaboratively work as part of a team.
